Fan Expo 2010, Part 3: The Comic Book Artists/Creators of Artist Alley...

(J. Bone pretty much summed up what Sunday felt like for Artists/Exhibitors on Sunday XD. Regardless, it was still an awesome day!)

If you think you're going to make lots of money and contacts on your first appearance in Artist Alley, get ready to be disappointed. Unless if you've already got a good fan base, or get extremely lucky, it's not going to happen. With that said, first conventions are usually the hardest.

With this being my second year in the artist alley, it was far more successful, mainly because I met so many cool people, new fans, and reconnected with contacts from last year/TCAF. Noel Tuazon (Elk's Run, Tumor) and Alex Jansen (Kenk) stopped by our table to say hello.

Since I visited the studio once already early in the summer, I also took the time to talk to as many of the TX artists/creators as I could...anyone I missed, I apologize! The guys at the Kill Shakespeare table were super cool too (more on that later!).
