What's up? I came back home reaaally late last night...anyway, I'll start at the beginning (how's that for a cliche??).
This year, us exhibitors/artists had different set up times...my friend Miroki and I had to be there to set up between 8-9 AM on Friday. Honestly, I don't even know how we did it. The whole weekend was awesome mind you, but Friday was a pretty brutal day. No amount of concealer make-up could hide the dark circles under my eyeballs. Artist Alley rule #1 - DRINK. YOUR. COFFEE/TEA!!! You'll be needing it.
Our table was located mostly behind the Tron booth, which was convenient for us (e.g. "Where's your table?", "It's behind the Tron booth").
After setting up, everyone had to wait for the con to open at 2PM. Since there was all that time to kill, I wandered around the showroom....
...and found the Batmobile, from the oldschool Batman TV show. Oh yes.
The stamps were quite interesting - even though ABSOLUTELY NOTHING touched, rubbed, or hit (hit?) the stamped area, the ink still faded away. Hmmm......
Walked around some more, and took note of the large crowd of people that were already in the building. I'm not even sure if it was 2PM at this point in the photo.
Anyway, it's not everyday where one goes to Toronto and sees Leatherface casually walking by the pedestrians.
Coming up tomorrow: The Cosplayers, and (if I can find them in my portfolio case!) some quick doodles....
