Nothing Says "Merry Christmas" Like Action Figures

This past month I came home one evening and I was really tired...anyway, I noticed this center piece...


...and to me, the gigantic pinecones looked out of place, or at least, something was missing. Now, I realized that there was suppose to be that festive thing going on with this center piece, but, for some reason, I had The Lord of the Rings in mind...

Second Storm?

Hmm...if this was a storm, then it was a pretty wimpy one. Not even close to Friday's standards.

However, it's suppose to be snowing all afternoon. We'll see what happens later on.

Thankfully I got home earlier than expected, after being stuck in a bus for awhile (yes, I was one of the "idiots" who went out today). I probably would still be on that bus if it wasn't for another bus driver, who just happened to be on her way to the terminal in her pick-up truck, who kindly offered to drive me to the terminal downtown. Awesome.

I think I'll stay inside for the majority of the day...

Awaiting Snowmageddon...

Yep, by Monday (in Southwestern Ontario) there could be about 40 - 50 cm of snow. My cousin, who lives in Spokane Washington, got hammered last night, and it is still snowing I believe?...

Shopping today was INSANE, both malls and grocery stores. EVERYONE (ok, realistically, anyone who needed to finish their X-mas shopping and get the groceries...that's pretty much everyone, right?) was out shopping. At the grocery store, the line ups were huge, and were pretty much like that all day apparently.

Snowmageddon indeed....

Snow Timeline...(Procrastination at its Finest/Worst)

This pic was taken last Sunday afternoon. Since I had other things to do that day, I only had time to build a mini snow martian thingy....

This pic was taken two days ago (Saturday afternoon). A little bit more snow, but there were some melting periods, as you can see...

...and this was taken today, after the massive snow fall (or "storm") we had last night.

And it's snowing again now.
